A premade hat is beautiful because I made it with intention. A custom hat is different. It’s made with your intention. Your story gets burned into the hat, not mine. That’s the whole point.
Here’s how it works. Once you place your deposit, I’ll reach out to start the conversation. We’ll talk about what this hat/jacket/art piece is really for. Maybe it’s marking something you’ve been through. Maybe it’s a phrase that gets you through hard mornings. Maybe it’s just an image that feels like home. I’ll ask questions until we land on something true, not just something that looks nice. We will also discuss your hat/clothing size and color, types of material, etc.
From there I sketch a mockup and send it your way before I pick up the burner. You’ll see it before it’s permanent. Once we’re both happy, I get to work, and I’ll keep you posted along the way. We will discuss design coverage (top brim or under and how much is covered) and complexity, hat bands, feathers and more.
My custom hats/wearable art pieces pricing depends on the above discussions, and can range from $300-350 (hat supplied by me) or $250-300 (if you bring me a hat/item you already love). We can also discuss pricing of full panel jackets, boots, belts and more.
This isn’t something I mass produce. It’s slow, it’s personal, and that’s exactly why it means more.
Your deposit goes straight towards the total cost of your hat, and holds your place in my queue. You can also tell me a specific deadline if for an event, gift, etc. and we will do our best to make it happen.
